AOL/Hotmail attachment blocking

A lady I work for uses AOL through Safari, and I receive all emails from her via my Hotmail account through Internet Explorer.

Just today, all file attachments she tries to send me are removed - at the bottom of the email it says "image removed" and ----------MB_8CAB478F0059751_F98_30B_FWM-D25.sysops.aol.com--

on the only file I did receive (a PDF) also in the text bit of the email was hundreds of lines of gibberish text.

Any idea what's happening and how to rectify it? This happened a year ago (but I just had the gibberish text thing and no attachments), and I'm not sure what was done to resolve it, I assumed it was an AOL thing.

AOL email is a law unto itself and will block or bar things as it wishes. I often have trouble emailing AOL accounts as they automatically ban certain senders for no reason.

My only advice is for her to change email providers.

The "gibberish" is the attachment as best it can deliver it.
