What equipment does BT need to put in its exchanges so that everyone can achieve a decent speed? You hear of some countries where up to 100 Mb is the standard.

bt needs to do a major overhaul of all of its telephone lines, changing them from copper to fibre optics. at the moment most BT broadband users suffer from slow internet and frequent breaks in service.

they are unlikely to make these changes anytime soon.
& can you imagine how much they're going to charge if they ever do?
