Loginnet passward

I have a hotmail account, and sometimes when I link to someone elses email through a website or try to forward something it takes me to loginnet passport sign in which I never use and do not know what username and password would apply. How can I forward things without using this, or find out my password, etc?

passport.net is a part of hotmail/Windows Live ID. If the domain you are taken to is passport.net you can login with your hotmail email and password.
If you are using an email client like Outlook Express, you can configure it as your default email client, in that case your Outlook Express will open up.
