Hi All
I am a nights worker and can not get onto sites like Youtube as my employer has blocked it on the server. I discovered sites like Youhide and all was good for a while until they blocked that too. Mu question is, Is there any way around it? Can I get to sites like My space and You tube any other way?
Cheers Folks

It well worth trying. I have Firefox at home so I will just stick it on my USB like you suggest.
Why can't you just accept your employer's rules?

If you are caught, it is a sackable offence.
dangerous! its quite common to stop people wasting time at work or doing illegal things! cant u wait until home time?!!
hey, my office has the same problem too, i used kproxy.com and proxy1.ru to access any website that has been blocked by administator, if you don't know how to use it read this tutorial :

You use an obscure Russian website to get around your company's internet policy?!

You do realise that the IT section will be able to trace you doing this?
Yep.
And if you're a pain in the ar5e we'd take great delight in shopping you.

Petty but it passes the time.
Yep me too I'm afraid. We've had to get rid of a couple of people here for pi55ing about with the company internet.

While people are happily watching videos and listening to mp3s, some poor sod will be struggling to work as the wasters are using all the bandwidth.
hey give the guy a break!!!!!
he says hes a night worker, some jobs involve sitting around just making sure no unauthorised people enter a building, better that he keeps himself occupied than crawls under the desk for a sleep!!!!
I'm sure its not an attempt to get out of doing any work and therefore leaving every one else to work harder!!
