Is there any USB type plug in device I can use to increase my laptops (iBook) receiving power ? There are several 'cold spots' in the building I live in, where my network reception comes and goes.

I'm not going to be able to answer your question really, only to say I'm really surprised as our iBook/Airport Extreme combination works really well, even as far as the end of our garden (for the few summer days we had when we could sit out!) and anywhere inside the house.

Are you using Airport Extreme, or another router?
