G'Day
I have just changed from Outlook Express to Outlook. Previously, when I "saved" a message in my documents, all that appeared was the origianl file. In outlook, this is now split into 2, one contains files and the other the message. If I try to delete one or other of these, they both get deleted. Is there a way around this ? I use the "Save As" function and save as HTML. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

It's the "Save as HTML" part that does it. If the email contains (say) images or a background, these will be saved separately. In effect you are saving the email in exactly the same way that you save a web page. In other words, there will be an HTML page which contains links to any pics, etc, and there will be a folder of the same name which contains the actual pics, etc.
