Yahoo email, How long will it be delayed!!

I have been trying to send an e mail to a friend, I have spoken to her on MSN using her Email addy and have sent her emails before on this addy, but now all I get is:

"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY. YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE. Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed."

How long will it be delayed? I have never come across this before!!!!

Hi RATTER , I was just about to post a thread asking if anyone was having trouble with sending and recieving e-mails tonight when I saw yours.
I cannot recieve and when I send the message is in the sent box but not reached the other person . We have tried both hotmail and yahoo .
Do you think the whole of popmail is down ? :-) x
