I thought this was answered on the science thread. Why raise it again or have I lost the plot?

Because of the critisism,much unfounded, on the original posting it was necessary to air again the view of the last posting of Boink who suggested that this idea is feasible and how it could be carried out. Also this posting should have been entered on the Technology thread.
