Thunderbird email printing

When I receive an email of which I need a copy, and print it, I get a printout of the source etc taking up nearly a page when I only want the actual message. This was not always the case and I think I must have changed a setting but I cannot seem to find a way of correcting this - I feel sure it is very simple and would welcome a nudge in the right direction - many thanks
