No problem in the UK for a couple of years - 2G and 3G are still going to be available until 2023 at least :

I hope that's the case, as I'm not yet actively seeking an excuse to upgrade my paperwhite. I'd love to wait for Amazon to offer an incentive! ;)
in all honesty, for me it wouldnt be a problem - i usually download books at home anyway since i bought my newest kindle and was too stingy to pay the extra for 3g! it just takes some extra thought
No problem with my main kindle, my paperwhite will be due a replacement by then. Paperwhites are just brilliant for reading, far better than conventional tablets.
