What the you-know-what is going on?
I am trying to register with a new forum and each time I try to enter a password for the site, Mozilla steps in and interferes, now I have "exceeded the number of registration attempts" and have to "try sometime later".
Aagh!
TIA for any advice. (Chris?)

That's not a Firefox message; it's being generated by the website itself. Even so, it might be worth trying a different browser (just in case Firefox isn't 'talking to' the website properly for some reason).
