I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

OH has spent the day getting chemo and a blood transfusion, neti. I am putting on my cabbie's uniform to do a hospital pickkup now.

Actually, I'll be driving a Jazz, it's a nice little car. As it's a hybrid it's sometimes not as nippy as other cars but the road tax here is only £10 a year.
Afternoon all
What a change in the weather. It was lovely here yesterday and now it's been raining on and off all day and the temps have dropped like a stone.
My brother is 86 Neti. The other one is nearly 84.
His new car is a Fiat. What model I don't know. He's a good driver though and only tootles around locally these days anyway.
Hope your OH isn't feeling too worn out after all that Jno.
Same old otherwise.KBO.
I have two brothers aged 82. One bro and sis aged 80 another sis aged 78, me aged soon 76. Then a younger bro aged 63. Then Ronnie aged 70. and poppet. (His sis) aged 69.
I bought a new pair of leather ankle boots today just to try to get some semblance if normality. I dont usually spent that much. Now they are hidden in laundry room at side of house and trying to work out how to sneak them!! He really wouldn't mind if I didnt have quite so many other pairs!!
Haha Neti. I'm thinking about buying a new pair of slippers and am looking for a long line winter jumper. I know what I want but can't find it:)
You have a large family there.Only three out of five of us left now.
Much brighter out there today.Hope you're all ok.

cold and blustery here again, shaney, after a pleasant morning. My second pair of socks on since 3pm and it's still September.
hello, the cold weather seems to have seen off the mozzies yay. Rab's leg is much improved yay. We had a hail thunderstorm here today not so yay. We have had the central heating on today for the first time. Odd evenings I have run the fake fire in the living room but it was quite nippy today so I decided to run it to make sure it all works. I am thinking the torts will need to come in soon so tomorrow's job is to prepare the spare room!

transhumance, woofgang?
yes pretty much but in reverse :) and no I didn't have to google.
Biting flies are having a field day here. 6 bites in 10
Mins. I was glad to have a shower and get to bedroom . Transflyance!!
Bites all gone this am! Mexico phoned and B12 and iron are all good. Now have proper anti bios for cystitis so a pee test in a week!!
Went out fir coffee and met gbf who flounced off in a huff when I said that I could not phone the town hall for him . When I did it for myself it was an utter nightmare and I refuse to put myself through that again! It's all yo do wit Brexit and I've sent him all the papers he needs but he had to do things for himself.
Shaney there is a Spanish couple residing in UK who also cant get their proof of life papers signed there! What a world!
Slightly overcast today but pleasant!
bright and windy here. Tort room all set up which is a great relief, and I have pulled out the fleecy winter sofa covers. busy busy
Afternoon all
Very grim out there today.Pouring down and blowing a gale.Very chilly too so heating is on.
Neti,Mr S has now written to Berlin and told them the circumstances so he'll just have to wait and see what they say. It's quite a big sum of money to lose each month though I imagine they will backdate it once he can get it signed by somebody. I said that perhaps our two faced MP could sign it for him.The remainer who swapped sides to keep his seat and then threatened to deport any EU citizens who don't register their status.
Otherwise same old.
Hope you're all ok.

It was son windy here last night. Woke me at 4am and I didnt slept again. Lilo and swim ring were merrily zooming round the patio having been blown out of the pool.
Shaney does Mr N have to do anything new for Brexit?
Whilst I was abed this afternoon having an old lady Siesta, there came a wafting smell of cake. Mr N had made me a sponge cake and himself a ginger cake. I covered mine in fondant icing. It is just simply the best, cant eat enough of it!!
neti you have got a good'un there. Shaney so sorry to hear you are having problems.
waves to Jno and Robi

no sponge cake here but I cooked up a Waitrose pizza and wonder of wonders found a tin of pineapple in the cupboard to sprinkle on top of it! I know it's Britain's least favourite dish but we love it.

OH had a violent shivering spell out of nowhere and slowly recovered under a pile of blankets, but the heating is now On and will probably stay On until April.
sensible Jno. Not to terrify you but if the shivering spell recurs then ask if they (anybody) are monitoring kidney function. DH almost got caught out by this as no one had thought to mention it.
Oooh a nice piece of home made cake always goes down well.I haven't made a cake for a while. No motivation, but I saw a nice easy recipe for a marsala cake in Rachel Roddy's column the other day so might give that a go.
I've spent the evening watching one of my favourite films,DrZhivago, for the umpteenth time.I always tear up at the end when Alec Guinness says "Tonya,do you play the balalaika".
Neti,Mr S still has to register his status but can't do it without a current passport and I don't think they accept gas or council tax bills. He's got indefinite leave to remain stamped in an old one but I doubt they'll accept that either.
Hope you OH soon feels better Jno. Yes, do watch out with the shivers ,can be a sign of a UTI etc.
It's still storming away out there.I don't like this sort of weather ,it always makes me feel on edge for some reason.
Oh well, I'll toddle off to bed and put some ear plugs in to block it out. Night all.
