I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

those are rather fabulous Shaney, I love this too https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-58149709 It has now been postponed because of the shootings which I think is quite right but sad.

latest on the bedroom of doom is that the man who came and condemned the carpet has also said that he thinks that parts of the floor will need replacing so I have got a builder visiting tomorrow....I guess it all makes work for the working man to do.

Well done Neti techy granny!

Hello. We are in the middle of a heatwave on top of our normal frightfully hot summer. . gitnyo v earlynto have brekkie and son supermarket shopping so got back home early to spend all day in the coolth ( I just love that word woofy.) It is as it sounds. Onomatopoeia is that right?
What a disaster you have had woofy ! Hope things soon get sorted. Hope Jno and OH are OK and you Shaney and Mr S. Waves to Robi x
hello all, yup floor is blown and most of it needs replacing. I am at the what the heck stage now, upstairs is a complete mess and will stay like it for the foreseeable but at least I have confirmation that the gas company will cover all the costs. car needs 4 new tyres too......but i do have to pay for those :(
Surely the gas will pay for the tyres too. Say it was parked upstairs! ;-)
Extremely hot today. But I've pottered and am dyeing a sheet and have grey fingers !! Bah!! New nail girl on Wednesday who is cheaper.!
Afternoon all
Nice breezy sunny day.Bit cooler but that's OK as the last few days have been very muggy and overcast.
I like the dragon Woofy. The Banksies have been confirmed as genuine. Hope you get your work completed soon .What a nightmare but at least they've divvied up and rightly so.
Nothing much doing really.
Terrible what's happening in Afghanistan. All those troops who died for nothing. I think the west has to realise you can't police the world but I do feel sorry for the women and young girls who will now be subjugated again under this medieval regime.
Hope you're all well and your loved ones.

ah me, spent a while discussing with a man over the phone why I couldn't transfer money from his bank to my sister. I managed after a couple of days to initiate the transfer but it then asked me security questions I couldn't answer - "what's the name of your eldest cousin?" The man said it appeared to be because I had signed in under my OH's ID and was therefore not being asked about my own cousins. I pointed out that OH doesn't have any cousins and so would never have chosen such a question.

Anyway, he's given me a new ID which I can sign in with and then change, and pick new security questions, so we'll see.
Oh shaney I know its awful. I was really frightened when the news broke. It seems we've lost that war!!
lol Neti.
Afganistan is Vietnam all over again. If you are going to police, you can't stop.
Jno, I had fun with my insurance online portal. It wouldn't let me into my account or delete my account, wouldn't let the online help team delete my account, they had to escalate it to IT central in the end. That was recent too.
I have got a carpet person coming on Friday. the floorboard man was very sensible...apparently the main problem that he has is sourcing materials. we'll see what carpet man says.....
waves to everyone

just ordered a bumbag online. Apparently the colour is Mobility Disabled Scooter Wheelchair Black. Classy!
well that has to make you feel good Jno. Nice carpet man came today. was very apologetic saying that BG were funny because all they would let him do was turn up, measure room, say yes carpet and underlay need replacing, make a note of carpet type (him "is this polyprop?" me "yes" Apparently then he sends report off to bg (email, sent before he left the house) and they then come back and offer to do the job, give me a carpet right voucher or give me a cheque but mine may be complicated by needing new floor too. I am inclining to leaving it all to them on account that workmen and materials are in short supply round here and honestly I cba.
Hope you are all well.
Hello all. Hope everyone and partners are ok!
Luckily all this floor disaster happened now and not in winter eh Woofy? What a palaver. Nothing much happening here. Stinking hot so we just stay indoors when not dipping in and out of pool. Next door are making a huge amount of dust and it's unbearable to close any windows!
New nail girl is OK from Slovenia and a bit bossy! As long as I don't break 3 nails it works out cheaper/ the same. As she charger for broken nails whereas the other one didn't but she was more expensive! I still really guilty! Haven't been able to tell her yet as she's away!!
No cooking here and just picking at snacks. Having a chicken and chips and crusty bread take away today! I'm not losing any weight!!!

it's almost a nice day here, and Ophelia is on her way here with lunch, so all is well. Haven't seen her for weeks.
Crikey Jno,they've got Ophelia well trained :) I hope you enjoyed your lunch. We've had the Pickies for lunch today and they're off to the big smoke tomorrow to see her parents in Kingston for a short break.
Weather's not up too much here. It's been mostly cloudy and muggy but it rained today quite hard which cleared the air. We've had no storms.
What a drag Woofy. I read somewhere that materials such as wood etc are in short supply. Hope it all gets resolved for you soon.
Watch you don't snap those nails Neti ! What if you had broken several,do they charge per nail for a manicure?
Hope you're all well.Night all.

she summoned up some cold, leathery pizzas delivered from several postcodes away, but never mind. She was sweet and chatty (only two words, mind) and almost standing but her knees aren't quite steady. She can only crawl backwards at the moment.

Her father banged another spike into the ground for our washing line - the earth's so soft and damp that the current one has sunk 6 inches below ground and tilted to one side so any attempt to wash bed sheets leaves them dragging on the ground.

Is it true the sun's going to shine tomorrow? I don't think Ophelia's ever seen it. At her age jno jnr had flown to Tenerife - the pilot plonked his carrycot in the captain's cabin so he could sleep without hearing nonstop duty free announcements, for whch we were all very grateful.
Hija was jetsetter from about 4 months old with Dan Air and Iberia!
Shaney its 30€ for infills which means she fills in the bottom bits where the nail has grown and smoothes and paints them. If I snap one then I pay 5€ for a new one. My other girl charged 40€ and her price is going up next month but broken nails repaired included! So if I break 2 now thats equal but 3 and I'm paying more!!! What's an (old) girl to do? Its my one pleasure! Had hair cut today. He calls me Lady Poco as I always say poco which means a little!!

the heatwave has finally begun here, neti, it is going to be 20 to 23 degrees every day all week and maybe even some sun. (None yet, though.)

The new washing line arrangement is doing its job!
Jno 20°-23°? thats winter weather. Lucky things.
hello all. we are getting cold and grey hours here interspersed with bright thundery sunshine....no thunder but black clouds and that lowering look. My day to day wardrobe is now downstairs in marks and spencer cooler bags (the cheap kind) because its easier than fighting my way through to the clothes in my wardrobe and chest of drawers. Living like this is kind of weird and appalling....at first I kept wandering around trying to make things tidier but in the end you realise that it is what it is. It will be so lovely to be sorted again.....not moaning, just saying.
lovely that you have seen Ophelia again Jno
waves to Neti and Shaney
Shaney yes that's what the builder man said, that there is a shortage of flooring and also it has doubled in price.
