Gmails Won't Send
I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:
"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"
Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.
Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://prod

Yes I saw that on the news today Neti. Poor woman. Her face looks very familiar to me.I've probably seen her in the High St at some stage or in the park.The road she lived on is quite a long one but those houses are this end of it a few minutes from here.I used to walk past them on the way to hairdresser so might have seen her then.
It's been a nice bright day but not all that warm really.
Think I'll turn in with a book and cup of rooibos with honey as it's turned chilly this evening. Night all.

Hello folk. Just had 6 rubes if blood taken for analysis so am having a coffee and croissant to recharge.
We had a local lad from Ibiza in the Olympics and he came 4th in some walking race. Still proud of him.
The house next door is being reformed and there are cockroaches everywhere being disturbed. One per day I find at home and they freak me out. Huge one in the bedroom on Wednesday so I shrieked and stood on bed until Mr N hunted it down and dispatched it. Hate them with a Vengeance.

Had an urgent text from hiha saying she'd lost all her data on mobile in Malta. So I told her what to do and lo and behold its all working again! I surprised myself!!
Went to lidl in San an today as we didn't shop yesterday. It was so so busy. Had to drive around huge car park until we found a space. Fit what we wanted. I like the household offers but nothing exciting there today! Mr N was pleased!!

OH has been told (as the result of a pre-op blood test) "You are pre-diabetic, we think you should lose weight." In fact OH is about 8 stone thanks to illnesses and has just had 2 kilos sucked out. But this was some phlebotomy wallah who obviously has no idea of the patient's history. I do find the NHS rather unco-ordinated. It'll take a couple of weeks to see the GP and get this sorted out.
PS weather here not abominable just drizzly and not warm. But 19 August is the big day!

All fine here apart from the weather although the sun is shining atm and I managed to dodge the earlier showers on the way to and from the hairdresser.
Haha Jno ,I think you can count on ten fingers the number of very hot days this summer.
I doubt at that weight your OH is diabetic. There seems to be a lack of joined up thinking anywhere these days.
My bank have changed my debit card from Visa to Mastercard. Nearly an hour on the phone to sort it out after it was rejected when I used it to shop on line.I now have a mobile banking app on my phone so I can generate security codes. I think First Direct must be more secure than Fort Knox :)
I see Woofy hasn't posted lately .Hope she's OK and the woofer.

Wet bedroom is still drying out. Additional bits of central heating system have been installed after first appointment was cancelled due to fitter self isolating. I now have red hot running radiators again hooray.
Rep from carpet relaying and cleaning firm turned up. Very nice taciturn young man who looked at the room, measured the remaining wetness in the floor and said that it was too wet to do anything yet and in any case the carpet was not relayable (apparently the wet has made the backing disintegrate, also he can't get the stains out) so he would be putting in a report to say new carpet required. So now we wait for the claims department again. They have made me a reasonable offer for cash compensation, in addition to sorting out the carpet, which I have accepted. Upside new carpet (Hopefully) downside is I have to live in chaos for a bit (whole lot) longer. Weather has been upsetting Rab so nights have been short and unpleasant too but heigh ho. Sis is being a gem, helping to manage the chaos and sleeping in a room that looks like an oxfam store room. we had a lovely time on my birthday, cream tea and lovely gifts.

That's strange Neti. Mine works ok. If I want to do my banking on the desktop I just generate the code to log into it from my phone instead of fumbling about with that little keypad thing.It's a good app actually but as I said setting up all the details over the phone was a bit of a nightmare.Now I've got used to it though I use it more than the desktop for banking.Old dog learns new tricks :)
