Can anyone throw some light why I am unable to print a document using the above program please.

If I copy and paste something from a web page it prints perfectly, but anything I type just comes out with the letters only partly printing. i.e the top half and only faint on the bottom half.

I've spent 2 evenings tying to work it out. Have re-written my document and still the flipping thing isn't sorted.

I'm hot and bothered now and just know I won't get off to sleep for ages.....time to sit with a cold drink..

Ta ever so...

At a guess, your printer can't deal with the font used in your document simply because the print head needs cleaning. (i.e. if you print something from the web the font used there requires more ink to be pumped to to print head, so the output looks OK. Your document's font pushes less ink to the the print head, so the partial blockage shows up).

Try running the head-cleaning utility a few times.
