Unwanted Photo Deletion

I hurriedly deleted photos from my iPhone S4 or 4S before noticing a warning that it would delete these from all my other devices.
If I plug my i-phone into my Macbook OS X 10.7.5, will it wipe the photos I previously downloaded there?
Ditto for my Back up Drive?

I would really appreciate your help!

I'm sorry that this post doesn't directly answer your question (because I know next to nothing about iPhones and Macs) but it occurs to me that your photos could only be deleted from your computer if there's an automatic 'sync' facility enabled between it and your phone. Such a facility would only look for images to be deleted within the relevant synchronised folder(s). If you copy the photos on your computer to a different destination (i.e. create a new folder somewhere different to where your photos are normally stored) there should be no risk of them being deleted when you connect your iPhone.

How kind of you to help, Buenchico, when you are not a Mac expert. It's comforting to know that I may not loose treasured photos of my grandchildren! Any further suggestions from Mac techs would be appreciated too.
Are the photos still in your camera roll? If so you haven't lost them. Or you could try the 'Settings' tab. Make sure it is on 'General' on left hand side. Then scroll to the bottom & you will get a choice reset all. It may work!

Yes Sycamore3Hous. I deleted them from My Photo Stream. Should I have deleted them from Camera Roll yesterday to avoid the situation in the first place?
Under Settings, I am in Photos and Camera. Can't see General. My Photo Steam is switched on and it says it auto uploads new photos and sends them all to iCloud devices when connected to WiFi. I tried switching it off but it wanrs that would delete the lot. Does it matter if they are all in Camera Roll anyway?

Thank you very much for all this help!
