Keep getting lots of spam ads and fake update chrome etc.Run many anti -malware scans and the above TicTuaCouapon 2.5 i deleted from chrome extensions-only for it to reappear (which a lot of nasties do)
It is not in add/remove programmes
Oddly when i googled "TicTuaCouapon" nothing seems to come up?

Google Chrome i have found to be more steady than the others.I/Exp always found mega slow.Firefox riddled with bugs
Malwarebytes/spybot/jrt/rogue killer all found malware - but did not remove Tictua
Personally i don't think malware per se is a browser /device issue
You haver said...".Firefox riddled with bugs ".

I would challenge that and say that if any Browser is responsible for depositing malware etc into a Computer, it is Google Chrome. In fact I have un-installed everything Google. Search Engine and Browser. I no longer
'Google' the Internet, I 'Bing' it. :-

Firefox whilst has lots of functionality it throws hissy fits on updates. And i had enough when it lost my boomarks-i tried everything to no avail
Other problem is each issue has about 1000 possible causes and the solutions are long winded and need a degree in computerology
I do have it on my desktop PC .Start up is dreadful - but after that it is fine.

I Do Not have a degree in 'computerology' but I am able to resolve all minor problems with Firefox. I am yet to find that one might classify as a 'Major Problem'. However, if you have had a thousand alternatives to your problems, then it is evident that we are operating on different wavelenghts. Consequently, I shall remain from commenting further in this thread.
