I am unable to send new messages on Facebook using my iPad. I can reply to a message , but can't send a new one.i press the message button but nothing happens! any advice please

Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling.

I sometime shave to open messages in a new tab.

Do you not use the FB app Sherr? It's much easier than going through Safari or Chrome.
