Ssid Number For T-Mobile Dongle-Printer Set Up-Please Help

I am trying to set up a wireless printer to my LAPTOP, its asking me for my SSID number, i haVE A T-MOBILE DONGLE. Wher is the SSID number, many thanks in advacnce.

i have the original packaging but no SSID no. Is it called anything else

You don't have one!

A SSID is the name of your wireless network that your router uses, if you are using a dongle you have no wireless network.

Some printer will let you print direct via wireless, but as you've not mentioned the printer any more advice is impossible to give.

CHUCKFICKENS IS CORRECT. I have just asked at the store where i bought my printer and they have said that you cannot set up the printer wireless if you have a dongle. So i have a wireless printer which i cant use in wireless mode.to make matters worse they have included the shortest lead to connect the printer to the printer

Should have asked the question before you bought the printer and secondly longer USB leads cost about £5. All wireless printers as far as I'm aware work through your Wireless Hub not direct to the device, SSID stands for Service Set Identifier this is what allows all devices to see each other on your wirelss network.
