Help with loss of menu bars in Internet explorer

Someone in the family has accidentally hidden the menu bars at the top of the page on Internet Explorer. Can't recall how to restore. Any help welcomed. Firefox is operating perfectly so it is just a IE difficulty. Thanks.

right click on what is up there and you can choose which bars to display

Right click on the "grey" area at the very top of the browser window (the border)nd from the small ,menu that is displayed select "Menu Bar"
