...could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 5.0.
I may be having a senior moment but I'm sure I used to have it.

I absolutely HATE extra toolbars, so I'm no expert here, but a quick search of Firefox add-ons suggests that several Google add-ons haven't yet been made compatible with Firefox 5. However this might help you:

Thank you, Buenchico. I'll give it a try in the morning.
I'm totally with Chris on this one.... I hate extra toolbars, every single one of them (without exception) is unneeded rubbish that just clutters up your screen and computer.

OK. On second thoughts I'll leave well enough alone.
Yeah, toolbars are lame. Infuriates me when I see people with half their screen loaded with pointless, never used toolbars. Except for stumbleupon, which is excellent.
i have had the (important ) update from firefox today and now i am unable to use realplayer to save any video clips.
it seems that there are a few add ons that are not compatable

my friend has asked could i save him a clip from the itv news and it has knackered up my plans :)
yeah, boo to toolbars!
