I have an elderly relative with a year old laptop who is running word 2007, She seems to have hidden the File, view, edit bar.I've had a look but i am familiar with the 2003 version and can't seem to find it.
Perhaps its me and the 2007 version has done away with this bar and you access it by some other means, but I am at a loss as to how to find it if it exists, can someone offer a solution please.

Yes they have changed the menus in word 2007 and the traditional file, view etc etc are no longer there.

View should still be there (it's moved further along to the right though) and the main file menu stuff is accessed by clicking on the big round orb type button in the top left corner.
Oh, and the edit stuff (and a few of the formatting options) are accessed by highlighting the text you want to edit and the right clicking on it.

Thank you Chuck, I knew there must be a logical explanation, it tends to throw you when you're unaware.
