my wife and I are flying to spain with Ryanair soon and we have to check-in on line which I have not done before, I have to print off the boarding passes but wonder what happens at the airport with our cases, do we still go to the check-in desk to deposit our cases in the usual way? apparently, we also have to check-in on line before our return flight which must cause a problem for some people who have to go in search of a computer and printer, I have access to those in spain so it's not a problem for me, perhaps there is info on the Ryanair website about cases but I can't see it, any advice welcome
thanks

The period for online check-in is actually between 15 days and 4 hours prior to the flight time. Most travellers with Ryanair won't be going away for more than a fortnight, so the 15 day period allows them to check-in (in both directions) on the day before their outbound flight.

As Redhelen indicates, on arrival at the airport you simply take your bags to the bag drop desk for tagging and then proceed to the security gates. The tagging process is fairly quick but, for the most popular flights, there can still be some fairly big queues.

thanks to you both, good answers and my problem solved
Would just like to add that you get to the gate pretty early as there is likely to be a huge queue and if you want to sit together you will have more chance of doing so this way. I take it you are aware Ryanair don't allocate seats its like getting on a bus and people can be happy to shove you out of the way!
I think they will allocate seats...they just charge about 3k to do it :-)
I have flown with Ryanair a few times........i don't check a bag in now as its free to take 10kg on board.....i just go places where there is a washing machine....also you just go right to the gate without queing. I am the queen of modular packing lol x
Also make sure your printer prints a legible bar code.Dont leave it till the last minute to go through security like I did on my first flight with them. My boarding pass wasnt recognised, and I had to rush back to checkin to get some issued luckily they didnt charge me.
