I have got a hotel voucher which was an attachment to an email. It`s in PDF format and I can view it with Adobe. When I click on the little print symbol at the top left, my usual printing screen comes up but when I try to print it says it is unable to print because there are no pages selected to print.
There is an area that says page 1 but it`s in grey and I`m not able to activate it.
Why can`t I print from a pdf file?

But I can`t select anything to print in the select bit because it`s in the grey bit where you can`t activate anything
Have you tried clicking the 'save a copy' icon and then printing from your copy?
Question Author
Yes, it still comes up the same whether I open or save
Looks like the pdf is protected to prevent printing. I would contact the people who sent it to you.

Thank you scotman. The people that sent it to me were British Airways so it should be quite interesting trying to get an answer out of them!
Try printing it out in Word, via a screen print.

Get the voucher on screen. Press 'Print Screen'. (You won't see anything happen). Open a blank Word document. Select 'Edit > Paste'. The captured screen image should appear. If it needs resizing, click on it to make the 'handles' appear around the edges, then drag the corner handles to get the image to fit. Print as usual.

I tried Word and that didn`t work. I downloaded some kind of update from Adobe Air and Christ knows what I`ve done but I`ve managed to print it at last.
Thanks for the replies
