How can I get WMA's to play on my pc? I have updated my windows media player to the current version and am running ATIVEX 10 but they still wont play and I cannot convert them useing a WMA-MP3 converter.

WMAs should play automatically on a PC that has Windows Media Player installed. You shouldn't need to alter anything.
Hopefully someone will be along with a solution for you soon.
As daffy says WMA's should play with no fiddling about with anything.

Are you sure that the files are not corrupt in any way? have you played them previously with anything? try download the sample WMA below and see if that plays, if it does then it's a problem with your files.

Hi CF, I am at work tonight so I will e-mail the link home and try tomorrow thanks. Activex should be directx. lol
I think if they are DRM protected .. and you don't have a license in the right place, or they are copied across .. they may well not play.
The clue is in the fact they will not convert. If it just sits there doing nothing, that is probably the case.
Try rebuilding license. (DRM license updater in WM tools)
