I have a Geforce 7600GT installed with 256 Mb ram on it, however direct X diagnostic reports it as having approx 1016 Mb. Does anybody know why this may be? It's Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit and Direct X 11 and up to date with drivers..
Many thanks.

2 reasons it could be...

1) the graphics card may have 256Mb of RAM but may be able to use some of your systems memory if it requires more (I can't find any conformation that your card will do this, but some certainly can)

2) DirectX diagnostics is getting it wrong! (not unheard of)
