When using Nero ShowTime an internet enabled application runs, possibly 3rd party called GraceNote that purportedly downloads album details and track listings. It's always wrong but beside the point.
It wastes bandwidth and I find it unnecessary.
As much as I can gather there are no Nero9 settings to shut this down. I use Kaspersky Internet suite 2010 and cant find any reference to GraceNote or Nero in the firewall settings.
How can I prevent Nero9 connecting to the web detailing everything I'm watching / listening to?

According to pages 46 and 47 of the manual, there is a checkbox under Options/Audio/Use Gracenote CD database.
Unchecking the box will prevent the program from attempting to use Gracenote
