DVD content online and accessible to another user

Hello everyone
I have a prog that I taped and have it on DVD. I want to send a copy to a friend and the only way I know is to physically copy the DVD and via Royal Mail
Is there a way I can convert what is on the DVD so that another computer can read it and then what server can I put it on so that my friend can download it onto her PC and watch? Can't send my email, too large

If you can copy the file(s) from the DVD to your computer and they are less than 100MB in size, then you could send it to your friend via "www.yousendit.com"
Your friend will them get a code from Yousendit so that she can download it herself onto her computer.
