Reducing output in corel draw 12

I am exporting a file rought 4.8 m x 84cm from corel into an EPS to print on a banner. When I export it I cannot get the file size below 2.2 gb, this is too large to process and is unusable. Is there a way to get it below 1.5 gb?

Not sure if this is the answer but when I'm printing out A0 inkjet posters at work I've found a sure fire way of getting a good print from a tiny file. For example:, I lay out the poster as an A4 or A3 page and then save as a high resolution PDF file (Press Optimized - in Acrobat Distiller). You can then open the PDF file in Acrobat Reader, then scale the page to A0 and hey presto! The text will be crystal clear and the graphics as good as the original resolution they were scanned at.

I was never a believer in this way and usually would provide full size artwork in Quark which would mean artwork of about 500mb in size. But this works fine and I'm a convert.

It might be worth a try.. Perhaps just get your repro commpany to run you out a small 200mm x 200mm area of the poster to check the quality before going ahead with the complete banner. Best of luck.
