Is there a limit to the amount of storage on Windows Media Player?

It's called the available space on your hard drive.

When I put a music disc into the computer WMP would list the tracks. Now it doesn't. I thought there was a limit, but clearly not.
Also I cant 'rip' the tracks. Any suggestions?
