keyboard light.

I've recently noticed a green light on the top right hand side of the keyboard (just right of the F key row) I think there are about three of them but only first one is lit up - I also think it is something to do with my mouse - I've tried to check in the help menu on my computer but don't seem to be able to sort it. Is it maybe something to do with instructing my mouse to ignore certain clicks? I have a Dell keyboard - the lights are directly above the silver DELL letters on the right hand side. Thank you in advance for any help - I'm thick when it comes to computers!

one is the number lock light, on is caps lock, one is scroll lock (like that is ever used!)

the first one is normally the number lock one, press the num lock key and see if it turns off.
