How do I adjust the "idle time out "on my internet ?

go to start/control panel/display then choose the screensaver tab. There is an option to alter the time-out in minutes there!!
And that ^ will be how to adjust your screensaver!

To adjust the time out for your internet (I will assume you are on dial up here!) open internet explorer, click on the tools menu, select internet options and then click on the connections tab

you should then see a list of your dial up connections, double click on the one you want to change, then at the bottom of the next window click on the button that says properties and then on the options tab.

On this page you can set the idle time before hanging up to be whatever you want.
