Programs onto external hard drive

Moving documents and pictures is nice and easy but i dont know how to move installed programs/software( some paid for then downloaded) or Internet "Favourites". If anyone can help me i would be most grateful

It's really not such a good idea to put installed programs onto an external drive!

If you really insist on doing it then you have to un-install the softwarugh,e from add-remove programs in control panel and then re-install the software specifying the drive letter of the external drive during the install.

Like I said though, really not a good idea to do it!
