iPod Touch, lost my mail connection,Help ?

I use a NETGEAR router, and all is well on my computer but for some reason the connection has been lost on my iPod Touch. When I go to 'Settings' and 'Wi-Fi networks' and tap on 'Netgear' It askes for IP Address-Subnet Mask-Router-DNS-Search domains. Passwords, etc, all that and more. I am lost can anyone give me any info please?
