To enable the copying of vinyl to CDs I need to install a sound card in my desktop.I am informed by Dell that one can be installed but there unit is much too expensive. Looking on line I have found a multitude of sound cards but am unsure of what to buy. Does anyone have any info' which may help me.

Are you sure you need a sound card ?. The spec says it has integrated audio and a line in socket which the manual states :-

Use the blue line-in connector to attach a record/playback device such as a cassette player, CD player, or VCR.

I think all you need is software to capture the audio

I record vinyl to CDs without a sound card and never found that I needed one.
