I have 256 MB on my my PC and would like to upgrade to at least 1 GB.
How do I go about doing this?
Sorry it is such a basic question but I am an oldie!

It is very easy to fit extra RAM yourself. Use this to find out what sort of RaM you need, you don't have to buy from them.

It may not be worth upgrading your pc. It must be fairly old and the processor won't be up to it.
Hi, I agree with hc4361 as I have just done it myself. Go to the crucial site then download the scanner tool and it will tell you what memory your PC can hold and the type you need. I bought mine from crucial and it works great. There is even a part on the site that shows you how to fit it, very simple. If your PC is very old though upgrading may not be worth it. Saying that mine is the first of the XP ones and still goes well.
