When I hit the return tab the cursor goes to double spacing (almost?). This makes life difficult when typing adresses on the header. How can I get the return tab to move to 'normal' line spacing as in the body of the text ?

Thanks.

you can highlight the whole page (i.e Ctrl and A, together -so its all black) click Format > paragraph > in the indents and spacing tab, change Line Spacing to Single and then OK.
sorry. you need to do it in your Headers box.

Tried that, WB but it still goes to about 1.5 line spaces whereas continuous typing results in normal spacing.

Thanks, anyway.

I had the same problem. Saw in Technology an answer saying press Ctrl and 1, and it worked for me, so it is worth a try
