acrobat reader 6.1 wont load onto win 98machine

I am trying to update the acrobat reader on my win98machine every time i try to load it it comes up with the message Software/system not supported. At the acrobat home page there is no specific acrobat 6 for win 98 in english. Has anyone any idea how to remedy this situation.

According to the adobe web page if you have Windows 98 you can only install the Adobe Acrobat reader version 5.0.5. If you upgrade your system to Windows 98 Second Edition (98SE) you will be able to install the latest version 6.0.1. If you want the latest version you must upgrade your operating system: you can get Windows 98SE off ebay very cheaply (�30) and the upgrade process is very easy.
