I have a little mouse which works perfectly on my notebook (HP) but I am having problems using it with my Dell laptop.
I get a funny kind of dm-dm noise from the computer and then the cursor freezes.
Any suggestions on how to fix this very irritating nuisance?
Many thanks

I hear mickey tried to divorce her earlier this year
it was thrown out of court when the judge said he couldn't divorce her just because the had prominent front teeth

in the appeal micky explained what he'd actually said was she was f@@king goofy

It could be a jealousy think - you must ensure that Mickey is installed before connecting Minnie

You have made me laugh!
AC - it's a usb one that I have used quite happily with other latops.
Windows b****** vVsta
Ball mouse
Dell Inspiron 1525.
only thing I can think is that the dell mouse driver for some reason doesn't like mini

dell like to write their own drivers - and assume that you'll never need an alternative .... there is also a possibility that the USB bus is causing problems (is anything else plugged in to usb? - if yes... unplug and see)

first try updating to the latest driver
http://support.euro.dell.com/support/downloads /index.aspx?c=uk&cs=&l=en&s=gen

or
http://support.euro.dell.com/support/downloads /index.aspx?c=uk&cs=&l=en&s=gen&SystemID=INS_P NT_PM_1525

if that doesn't work - try uninstalling the dell mouse driver/software completely

if you have one try using a usb to ps2 adapter
