I have a Windows Vista laptop and need to change the hard drive. One of the small programmes I find useful is called "Snipping Tool". I don't know where it came from but would wish to put in onto the new drive. Anyone know where I can find this programme?

Why do you ' need to change the hard drive'? "snipping tool " is part of Vista . If you change the drive what operating system are you going to have on the new drive ?
Put "Snippy" into Google and download Snippy.exe

The manufacturers tell me I have a fault developing on the hard drive and I already have a replacement drive ready to install with Windows Vista in place. In any event since I wrote I have discovered that I can find Snipping Tool in accessories. So that is OK thanks.

But I would like to find out if there is an equivalent tool for XP models?
Snippy.exe as posted above works with my XP.
