There are a few nasty things, which can find their way onto your computer, which can 'hijack' your browser, so that (whatever you do) it will always redirect your home page. I know nothing about Imesh. The following assumes that it's not actually hijacked Firefox. (If it has, post again and investigate further).

To get Firefox to display your chosen page when you first start, go to the desired page. Then click Tools>Options.
With the 'General' tab selected (which is probably what you'll see anyway), look in the 'Startup' section and ensure that 'When Firefox starts' is set to 'show my home page'. (Again, it probably already shows that). Then click 'Use current page' and 'OK'

Dear Chris,

Thank you for answering. I do not have anything on Firefox under Tools, Options, General that refers to a Start up page. I wondered about that.

Sorry, I've just looked again and seen that I should have referred to the 'Main' tab, not the 'General' one. (NB: i'm using Firefox 2, because Firefox 3 isn't compatible with my operating system. What I see might not be exactly what you've got on your screen).

Before doing anything else, take another look at what's under Tools>Options. I'd be very surprised if there's not a way of changing your home page somewhere in there. If not, try re-installing Firefox. (You'll keep the same, unwanted, home page but you might be able to get back the option to change it. Reinstalling Firefox doesn't require you to delete it. Indeed, it's better not to, since you'll retain all of your bookmarks and settings).
