stockland hill transmitter.
between 6th to 20th May we are being switched to digital.
where i live, we currently can only receive 9 channels which most notably do not include the itv's or c4's.

i have been on a website showing the 9 channels i can receive being transmitted at max power with all others on very low power. http://www.ukfree.tv/txdetail.php?a=ST222014

my question is does anyone know if/when we will get the other main channels and am i alone in not having most channels?

thanks

All of the digital transmitters, throughout the country, which are currently operating on reduced power are only doing so in order to avoid interference to analogue transmissions. They will be switched to full power almost immediately after the analogue transmitters are switched off.

Stockland Hill's analogue transmitter will be switched off at midnight on 20 May. The full-power digital service is scheduled to be on air by 0600 on 21 May. You should then be able to receive all Freeview services (assuming, of course, that you've got a decent aerial system).
