Does somebody know how long to give my new laptop it,s first charge i cannot find anything in the paperwork regarding this, thank you allgram.

Charge it until the charging indicator either goes out or changes colour would be my suggestion.

Charge it for a few hours after it says that it's 100% charged.

Then use it as a laptop (i.e., not plugged in all the time), and don't worry about when or when not to charge it.

Once every few months, do a full discharge (just use until it turns itself off) then charge, leaving for a few hours with no charge, then a few hours with 100% charge. This will help keep the battery level indicators correct.
