It is NOT a good idea to type your email address anywhere in public view on the internet.

There are computer programs that trawl the internet, looking for email addresses, which they then send spam emails.

Once you are on one of these lists you will begin to get more and more spam emails.

If you do want to put your email address anywhere then it is best "hide" it by typing it in a way that does not look like an email address.

So you could put:

FRED "AT" YAHOO.CO.UK

or

YAHOO.CO.UK and my name is "Fred"

Thanks for the tip, must admit I was a bit wary of doing it.
