Playstation 3 Internet Settings

Can anyone please help with setting up PS3 to the internet. I have connected the Ethernet Cable to PS3 but when trying to go online "this page cannot be displayed" appears. Done the automatic settings but this still comes up. When trying to set up manual it is asking for IP Address, DNS Server Number and MTU Code. Can anyone plsssss help?

Nobody is going to be able to answer you as it depends what you have to other end of the Ethernet cable connected to.

Though if it's a router then the automatic settings should work. can you describe your whole setup a bit more.

Hi Chuck,

Got it eventually, switched the Router off and back on then reconnected it to PS3 and automatic set up worked.
