Recording Video and Audio from DVD

Does anyone know if there's a programme available on the internet which records the video and audio from a DVD?

I would like to use this feature so I can start making my own films.

You may try this DVD Ripper. I know it can record video and audio from DVD to computer, my friends recommend it to me, it works pretty well. Here is a guide about how to use it
