Creating a database using Dreamweaver and Excel

Is it possible to create a database and read/write information to and from a website using just Dreamweaver and an Microsoft Excel spreadsheet/Access file? If so, how would I do it? Is there any websites I can visit to learn how to do this?

I don't know whta dreamweaver is.

However you can create a database in Access, thats what its for and you can then link it to excel.

I would suggest as a starting point a course, if not dummies books and the Idiots guides are very good starting points.
