When I am writing emails or using wordpad, it has suddenly starting leaving 2 spaces between each line. Any idea how to get it back to normal without doing a system resore ?
Thanks

Do you mean there are two blank lines between every line (within a paragraph)? Or do you mean there are two blank lines after each paragraph (any time you hit the return key)?

Which email program are you using? Is it Outlook Express?

In Outlook Express you can solve the problem immediately by changing from rich text to plain text. Do this in the "Format" menu. Or, change the style to "normal". This is also in the "Format" menu.

In WordPad do "Save As", "Save as type". Choose "Text Document".

Thanks koster but it seems to have gone back to normal of it's own accord ! Very strange !
Had you pasted in a clip you copied from a web page.?
This imports the formatting temporarily as you continue to write.
