Im running windows vista home premium on my dell laptop, each time it re-starts after either, computer updates/installation of a programme or after un-installing a programme i get a message box saying windows repair cannot repair your computer automatically, im then given the choice to use system restore, so this I do which then goes back to basic, however when the system restarts again I get the whole windows message again prompting me to do restore again etc etc, why is my laptop doing this, and how do I correct it so it does not happen again?? all answers are appreciated..;~}..jen.

hey sweetjen, is your dell quite new? i bought a dell laptop in Jan this yr running vista and it dosnt run properly. i spoked to the support ppl at dell an they kinda fixed it, but it plays up now and again. ..... it just comes up with a blue screen etc its so annoyingx

Thanks whitebear, yeah its quite new its the dell 1520, never played up before until now an its doing my head in literally!!! Flump have you heard of the site where you can get yourself an attitude test????

within a week i had problems with it. there should b a technical support number for Dell and they run test with u!
