Laser mouse

I bought a Nikkai A33GN (MP9) laser mouse from Maplin for a tenner a few months ago and have just tried to bring it into use.
But it needs a driver and Maplin are silent.

This ailing computer is Windows XP, but my new Dell is Vista.

With no other option, the item was taken back to Maplin who said it doesn't need a dtriver and should work automatically. They accepted that was faulty and despite having bought the item over 3 months ago and no receipt it was replaced. So, well done Maplin, take a bow!
